Bridge Ball

Bridge ball, bridge ball, bridge ball. There are so many things to say about this wonderful sport. Oh I am sorry, I never explained what bridge ball is. Bridge ball is dodge ball, except it is cranked up to a whole new level. It is more intense, more exhilarating, and just plain old more fun. The rules are the same as dodge ball, hit the person they are out and catch the ball and a teammate can come back into the game, but for some reason playing it at bridge just makes the game so much different. Maybe its just the way bridge ball brings out the passion and smiles in these kids or the way the game brings out the competitive spirit that drives these kids to new heights. I don’t know, but what ever it is, it is great and amazes me every time we play. Like at the end of Thursday for example when we ended the day on a game of bridge ball it was so heart warming and moving to see these kids having the times of there lives just through the basic game of dodge ball. It makes working at Peninsula Bridge worth it just in those 15 minutes at the end of the day to see how much fun the kids are really having here at Peninsula Bridge.
